Can't go wrong with Mandrake 9.1. It HAS to be the most noob friendly of
em all. I used Mandrake from 8.1, 9, and 9.1 to cut my teeth on. Now I'm
using Slackware 9 with a custom kernel. Mandrake was a decent learning
tool, but if you really want to learn linux switch to Slack after you get
comfortable.
