Slackware 9 and kernel source question.

I been trying to get ACPI patch on to my system. I can not find the
kernel source. Usually it is in /usr/src/linux, right? That's what
'Linux Bible' says :) but it is not there. I used /usr/include to
compile NVIDEA drivers, but that does not work for the ACPI patch. Is
it just that Slackware does not come with kernel source, or am I
looking in the wrong place.
Also, is there a kernel config program in Slackware, or should I just
edit the /boot/config? I am really new to Linux, so I fill a bit lost
here :(
