Hello Guys,
I have an email server in a Compaq Deskpro PIII with 733 MHZ and I
am using Suse 7.1, sendmail-8.11.2-4 . This machine is a POP3 server.
Some days ago the Outlook has some problems receiving the email from
windows NT/W2k client machines. When I am receiving emails on the
outlook the email arrives with the time incorrecty. If I send an email
to myself, only to test, at 2:00 PM and get the email at the same
time, the email arrives with the time 1:00 PM. I tested it with
netscape on Solaris workstation and netscape with W2k client and it
works correctly. When I typed the comand date on my email server this
is the result:
#email_server> Thu Oct 16 02:00:17 BRST 2003
My local time is Sao Paulo - Brazil.
I checked the Timezone on the email server and it is setup correcty.
If changed the time on the mail server one hour forward the Outlook
receives the email with the exactly time and netscape too, but if the
email server has the time setup with the exactly timezone the Outlooks
still receiving it one hour less.
Please , if someone has any idea , let me know.
Regards
