Hello,

Did someone know if it's possible to make a tar multivolume archive on
Hard disk?
My problem is that my linux system don't accept files > 2Go. Then i
try to make tar multivolume archive on a secondary hard disk but
without succes.
Could you help me?
In a fisrt time i create a script that rename first archive and move
it in another directory, but when i try to restore multivolume archive
i have a problem: i can't use the second part of archive.
Is there a solution qith tar to do a multivolume to hard disk.
Thanks.
