I have a system I'm designing which has several computers scattered around
the building on a LAN all running RedHat. Each of them DHCP's their address
and that all works fine.

One of the many things I do not know and hope that someone will tell me is :

"How do I go about figuring out what the IP address of an arbitrary computer
on my building LAN is so I can ssh and control it without walking to the
computer, logging on and typing ifconfig?".

With hopes in questing for knowledge, Charles
