I have been considering for awhile turning an old box of mine into a
"router" parsay. I have done alot of thinking about it, but I need some
insight. The main problem is that I am on 56k therefore I do not have a
static IP. In my head, I would have to change the IP on my other box to the
gateways IP everytime I got disconnected. Am I right? I don't know much
about networking; other then just simple networks I have setted up in the
past with wind0ze (shame on me :P). I have googled around for it, but I
havn't found much on dynamic IP's. 99.9% of the tutorials out there for
gateways are targetted to the broadband networks.
Maybe someone can clear this up for me?
Thanks..
