I am asking this question in this forum to try to get an objective
opinion. Now that most distro's support anti-aliasing...why would I see
a difference in font rendering between RH and Mandrake? I have tried
both and I always come to the conclusion that rendering is better in RH.
I know RH uses Freetype but Mandrake uses some other system in 9.2.
Is this the difference or is it soley based on my systems relationship
with the distro? I like Mandrake because of it's use of KDE and am not
really pleased with RH-Gnome link. But again I am stuck on the font
rendering thing.
