Epia-M and XVideo

First excuse my bad English :-)

I've got a Question(Hopyfully someone can Anser)
I try to make MYthTv work on an EPIA-M but i'm in trouble to get XV to
work.
I use the Driver from Via's Website "via_drv.o" and i have a very nice
X-Server working with this.
But If I type "xvinfo" on a console I get only an:

"xvinfo: cannot open display"

Has anybody an Idea or an Workout ?
