Hi. I have an Epson Stylus C84 using USB. Running Slackware 9.1 and
did the ./SETUP for apsfilter, chose the gimp Epson C 80 series worked
fine for the test page, but now how do I print to it from command
line?
Example:
root@picard:~# lpr /root/test
Status Information, attempt 1 of 3:
sending job 'root@picard+495' to aps1@localhost
connecting to 'localhost', attempt 1
connected to 'localhost'
requesting printer aps1@localhost
job 'root@picard+495' transfer to aps1@localhost failed
error 'NONZERO RFC1179 ERROR CODE FROM SERVER' with ack 'ACK_FAIL'
sending str '^Baps1' to aps1@localhost
error msg: 'spool queue for 'aps1' does not exist on server
picard.nailsoft.net'
error msg: ' non-existent printer or you need to run 'checkpc -f''
Waiting 10 seconds before retry
Thanks!
