Hello.
I would like to say that after one day fighting i made sb live!
working.
Clean slackware 9.0 install, and kernel 2.6.1.
I just post here to help anyone who would have the same problem as me.
I compiled kernel with my own choices and it didn't work i don't know
why.
I think that i had everything ok.
That link helped me. I compiled with that options and Sb live was
detected :)
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questions/archive/18/2004/01/3/135596
Now sb live didn't worked also, but i was happy it was detected.
So i read the f*cking manual, from the kernel and it said to run
scripts/makedev.snd or smth like that, so i run it and it didn't
worked some sort of fu**ing error.
So i grabbed the package alsa driver source, unpacked it, and run the
./snddevice script it made me all sound devices.
Installed alsa-lib
and whoila it works !!! :)))
