I just installed a new 128MB PC133 SDRAM on an IBM Aptiva 2139-E5U. Site
ordered from said it was a 32x8, I think, and said it probably wouldn't work
on older motherboards. I thought, 2139-E5U isn't that old and its BIOS has
been updated once already. Checked in BIOS, and BIOS sees it as 128MB,
doesn't give any errors, even when I diabled Fast-POST. However, when I boot
into SuSE Linux 8.2, screen goes completely blank, system apparently
freezes, and caps-lock and scroll-lock lights flash. When booting to
Windows, the computer restarts itself, unless I choose safe mode, where it
does the same stuff as Linux except it doesn't do the flashing caps- and
scroll-lock. Any idea what this is?
