Hi all,

I am quite a newbie in Linux, and don't understand the relation
between Debian and Knoppix. What does it mean by "Debian-based"?
Is Knoppix just Debian plus the hw configuration tools?

Since I've installed Debian on my box, but faced with too many
configuration problems. At first my LCD, I had to used Knoppix to
recognize it and copy the XF86config-4 file back to Debian.
Eventhough, this trick did not succeed in configurating my USB Mouse.

I think if Knoppix is just Debian plus excellent hw configuration
tools, then why I just install Knoppix?

Hope someone can enlighten me on this matter!

Thanks!
Tuan Anh
