    hey guys!!

i have a question that announces my newbie status:

i am buying an extra hard drive and plan to install linux on it. i
wish to install the hard drive in my computer so i have 1 hd with
windows xp (the original hd) and 1 hard drive with linux. i want to be
able to choose which hard drive to boot from at start up.

i think i heard the name LILO somewhere as a boot manager????

question: what eqpt/programs would i need to accomplish this???

any help would be greatly appreciated. i am eager to get in there and
    learn about linux!!!

    thanks,

    kyle
