Howdy,
I am having a debate with a friend, and cannot seem to find
an answer to our issue. If a device (load-balancer in thise case)
has two trunks to a switch, and each trunk sees the same
VLANs, would a spanning tree instance be required to run
on the load-balancer for each VLAN? I was under the impression
that spanning tree was required anytime more than one trunk
is deployed (each trunk seeing the same set of VLANs). From
reading through Cisco LAN switching, I would think so, but
I could be wrong.
Any thoughts?
