Cannot browse with Web Browser

Hello
I installed Suse 9. I have two NIC. One on the private net
(192.168.xx, eth1) and one on the internet directly (dhcp, eth0). On
eth0 I got an IP address from my provider.
But when I start Mozilla, or Galeon, or Konquerer and try to browse
the internet, I get on every page a timeout.
When I ping a known internet name I get a timeout.
When I ping the resolved IP, I get also a timeout.

So it seems as if I where not connected to the net. But I got the IP
address via dhcp! The cables are ok, I tried it with my laptop
(windows allowed me to browse there)

Any ideas??
