I'm trying to copy a directory from my Windows box to my linux box. I have
an ftp server running on my windows box, so I've been trying to use rsync
to make a mirror of the windows directory, but with no luck. I've been
reading howtos and searching google for answers for an hour and a half and
I'm no farther than when I started. Could someone please show me the
correct usage of rsync to do what I need?

Thanks!

PS, I'd really rather not install Samba just to do this, so that's not an
option.
