My SuSE 9.0 Professional was unusable on three different IBM Thinkpad
laptops. Plugging-in an external mouse (whilst the touchpoint/trackpad
was activated) would repeatedly freeze internet connectivity, and the
mouse. The only solution was to hibernate/resume, or reboot. SuSE's
official position was I was SOL. Do not support external mouse on
laptpos. There were other problems like sound not recovering after
hibernation. Strictly a desktop product it seems. I easily switched to
Mandrake (10.0) on the latest model of IBM laptop and everything,
installation to use, was far easier. More user-friendly.

A few quirks in taste here and there, but then, it's French.
