If Windows is really on /dev/hda1, Bill, since /dev/hda is the first or
master hard drive, would the answer be to delete the two map-drive entries
before re-running lilo, or is something more needed? (I don't know the
answer to that myself. I find it preferable to say "try this" rather than
"that is your problem".) Running "lilo" should have made no difference if
neither the hardware config nor lilo.conf had changed since installation.
