I don't know that Bill would call me a friend. Having access to source
code doesn't automatically put one in his circle of friends; usually it
is just a business necessity.

Which version of Windows were you looking at?

Following the logic suggested by yourself and others here, if you've
seen bits of the Windows kernel, you must be a Microsoft employee and a
friend of Bill.

Non-NT versions of Windows are quite poorly written. NT-based kernels
are very well written. When comparing the code side by side it's very
obvious.
