I use Mqandrake 9.1 and have some pretty old usb mp3 player with its flash
memory and SmartMedia card.
When I connect it on a Linux I saw the Unknown device: /proc/bus/usb/devices
in a USBView and try to mount wroting a:
/proc/bus/usb/devices /mnt/usb vfat noauto,users,rw,umask= 0 0 0
in a fstab.
After I reeboot I can copy some files to the device without the errors, can
see files in /mnt/usb but there are no music files on my player.
What I can try if I search the web and didn't find anything about my player
and Linux?
