    Have you tried newspost? Ypost is out there too, but it's rather
    affiliated with yenc, which seems to be a taboo for abpm. Newspost is a
    terminal program, but there are a couple of gui frontends (such as
    gnewspost and knewspost), but I haven't been able to get them to work
    successfully.

    Have you tried Pan? Pan is a dream for downloading binaries.
