moving samba & adsl setup to a new distro ?

I have a a Mandrake 9.1 on Celeron 533MHz in a LAN with another PC XP and I
was thinking about Mandriva 10.2. How can I save all my samba, LAN(rotuer)
and adsl setup, so that I must not install all that stuff, on a new distro,
from begining. Is is smb.conf file enough for a samba, for example?
.
