I'll use cut&paste of the text from the screen, but this is more or less
the typical situation as isn't doing very much on saturday morning.
Again, this is a dual AMD Athlon machine running SuSE linux kernel
2.6.8-24.19-smp. Even with 20 years experience as Unix/Linux user
as both user and application programmer it doesn't ring a bell :-(
I guess a Windows user would re-install Windows and reboot. I wish
to avoid that :-)
