Your setup isn't clear to me. You use Mandrake as gues os? What is
the host os? I only have experience using Windows as guest and (SuSE)
Linux as host. At least in that setup, the actual display hardware is
totally irrelevant. The guest is talking to a display driver supplied
as part of VMWARE tools and the host sends this to X11. I'd assume the
setup using Linux as guest is similar. There are a lot of VMWARE
newsgroups though, and that where you should try.
