I am getting 1024x768x24 on a Radeon 7000 using Mandriva 2006. Monitor
is a Mag Innovision LT782s. Could this be a difference between using
xorg vs. xfree? I have been using the same equipment since Mandrake 9.0,
around 2002, when I switched from Red Hat to Mandrake.
The thing is, that ATI drivers aren't supplied for my cards, and yet I
am getting proper resolution (stock kernel, no special modules).
