Hi Group,

I have a linux box (without cdrom) running mandrake 8.0. All the
development tools are getting too old to compile new stuff. Any way to
upgrade my system in a minimal impact way? Preferrably only update the
development tools if possible. I have plenty disk space but without cdrom.

Thanks for your time.

if you can't shell out $20 for a cdrom, go to your local landfill, and you
can probably pull one out of a discarded computer.
