I'd like to be able to install a Linux Distro to a USB Flash drive and
have the following capabilities...
1) the ability to boot from the USB drive
2) the ability to run from within Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista (like a
virtual machine) without rebooting to enter or leave Linux).
3) this should be a persistent install (for example, when running Linux
from my USB flash drive, I should be able to install an application or
change the wallpaper or save a document and those changes should be there
the next time I boot up my Linux USB flash drive installation)
I have found some instructions on creating bootable installs OR Qemu
installs, but no instructions on how to have both options available on a
single USB device.
I can use a USB Hard Drive as opposed to a USB Flash drive if needed.
Thanks for youe help!
