trouble with changing monitors

Hi there,

I have installed RH9 without any trouble but since I changed the monitor, I
cannot start the graphical interface anymore. The monitor shows that he is
not able to show those resolutions and shut down. RH seems to regonize that
as after several tries and text boxes with no content apart from "YES" and
"NO", the text log-on is shown.

How could I change the resolution and frequency that is used by the
graphical interface?
