Hi all,

When I try to update my up2date manually with terminal I get these errors.

---------------------------------
[root@........root]# rpm -Fvh up2date-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        up2date = 3.1.23 is needed by (installed) up2date-gnome-3.1.23-1

[root@........root]# rpm -Fvh up2date-gnome-3.1.23.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
        up2date = 3.1.23.2 is needed by up2date-gnome-3.1.23.2-1

[root@........root]#
--------------------------------

VERY NEW to Linux here.
Is there a specific program to install with or terminal will work ok?
Do these files have to be run from inside a certain folder?
Do they have to be run in a certain order?
Do I need additional files for install to work right?

Thanks for your help
Al
