NEWBIE QUESTION spamassassin, sendmail and kmail

I use RH9 and i want to use sendmail, spamassassin en kmail. I have no
idea how i can get it to work.

Is there somebody how can explain to me in plain simple english how i can
get those 3 programs to work.
