Boot RH 9.0

Hi,
I have a problem, I installed RH 9.0 and I have not been able to take
it:-((. The situation is following one, a HD with a partition for Xp (ntfs)
and the rest free , I install RH in the free space and I say to him that it
installs grub in to mbr, says to me that he will not be booteable. In
addition this Pc havenīt disk........ so I cannot create the starting disc.
Result finishes the installation and it does not boot anything..... in the
screen was printed only Grub loading.... and no work. I take the Pc with the
console of recovery of xp I do fixmbr and fixboot and at least Xp work. How
I can do so that it takes RH 9.0?
PD: It's monday morning in Spain it's a very sensitive period.
