Hi,

I'm running RedHat 9 and am trying to install the newest Gaim client.
The client requires glib 2 or above and RedHat is still using version 1.2.

When I try the ./configure command to prepare the source files for
compile, I get an error that the installed glib is <= 2.0.

There are no RPMs for glib 2.2.3 so I compiled the sources and installed.

My problem is that the Gaim configuration script doesn't recognize the new
installation or I'm not setting up the glib installation correctly.

Can someone help?

Thanks

~AF
