My system was upgraded from 7.3 to 9.0 and all preceding patches
applied. Using rpm, I got the error

perl-NDBM_File <= 1:1.75-34.99.6 conflicts with perl-5.8.0-88.3

After removing perl-NDBM_File-1.75-26.72.3, the rpms for the perl
uodate installed without error.
