Problems on a Medion MD6200 laptop when installing RH9

Hi! I tried to install RH9 on a Medion MD6200 laptop computer. However,
there seems to be a problem when switching to graphical mode.
What do I do? First I install the first CD, boot the computer and the
welcomescreen appears. I press enter and the installation begins. After a
while the installation switches to graphical mode and then the problem is
there: the screen showes some strange green and purple colors and that's it.
As far as I can see, the install-procedure is still working because the
HD-LED is still blinking.
But: after a while the installion stops and the only thing I can do is to
reset my computer.
So I tried with an installation in text modus. No problems! However, after
installation, the same problem occurs: computer boots fine but when
switching to graphic mode the same funny colors.
Some info:
processor Pentium 4 - 2,6GHz
memory: 512MB RAM
HD: 40 GB
graphical/video-interface: nVidea GForce FX 5200 with 64MB RAM
