I have installed v 9 of Red Hat Linux, but apparently the moniter
selected was not correct. When graphics mode starts up, the monitor
shuts off and says it is getting no signal. I don't know what the model
is, it is a 21", and if it is written on the back, I can't read the
small print back there. I have had this monitor for several years and I
doubt I can find whatever information came with it. Is there any way to
fix this without reinstalling and guessing until I get it right? Is
there a safe generic selection? The monitor that was selected was the
first on the list.
