    Hi, I had this as well, please tell us something about your
    configuration (HDs, where 'what' OS is installed, partitions etc....)
    before I start telling you *my* solution, that may well not apply to you!

    My problem had to do with how GRUB orders the HDs at installation time,
    how it gets along with the removeal of disks and presence of different
    linux installations!
