apt-get java install query

I've downloaded apt-get and the synaptic frontend, now I'd like to be
able to install the java plugin for Mozilla using apt/synaptic.
(Haven't had much luck with the java rpm's).

Is it possible to do this in RH 9?

What about realplayer also?
