Dear experts,
I'm having some big problems with my video card
(ATI Radeon 9000). Problem is, I can't get
any X or graphics to work.
Current Setup is:
Redhat advanced server 2.4.9-e3
Xfree86: 4.1
Some have suggested that the kernel is too old
for the scripts to work. I plan to upgrade it.
I would also like to upgrade xfree86 from 4.1 to 4.3.
Originally, I tried to delete the xfree86 packages,
but there were many dependencies, as you can imagine.
After I upgrade the kernel, and xfree86,
will all the dependencies be transfered to the
newer X and kernel?
Thanks
