I have installed Fedora Core 1 successfully on the second harddrive (an
IDE slave drive). However, whenever I try to boot up from that drive
(BIOS itself allows me to do that) it comes up to the following line
    being displayed:

    GRUB GRUB

Where can I find clues as to what might have gone wrong? Log files?

I am using the following partitions:

    hda1 NTFS 3.9 GB (bootable NT4 Server)
    hda2 NTFS 11.7 GB
    hda5 NTFS 20.7 GB (bootable Win2003 Server)
hda6 NTFS 20.8 GB (bootable Windows 2000 Server)

    hdb1 EXT3 100 MB /boot (Fedora boot partition)
    hdb2 EXT3 100 MB ? (empty, reserved for future Solaris-9)
    hdb3 EXT3 9 GB / (Fedora root)
hdb5 SWAP 1 GB (Linux swap partition)

hda has a working Windows Boot loader which I don't want to touch.
hdb has GRUB installed, not in MBR though.
I would like to be able to boot up GRUB from the hdb.
The machine being used is a Dual Pentium III with 1.5 GB RAM.

I noticed that the Fedora installer offered me a choice as to whether
install GRUB in the MBR or elsewhere in hdb. I chose not to install it
into the MBR, because I am not sure whether it would destroy the MBR of
    hda or not.

    Any help or hints appreciated.
