KDE Software install
Date: Wed, 28 Jan 2004 23:14:10 GMT
I installed Redhat 9 on my laptop and discovered after the
installastion that I forgot to include the KDE Software development
packages. So, I went to my system settings->Add/Remove
Applications to install it, but it says that I need the XFree86-
Libs. So, then I went to the disks and found the rpm, double-
clicked it, and it says its already installed. This happens on
other packages I've tried to install also. Im not sure how to go
about getting this to work since i'm a novice to the linux
environment. My guess is that some system variables are set wrong,
but wouldnt know where to look. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Brian
