install RH9 on Compaq ProLiant ML350

Hi
I have problem with my Compaq ProLiant ML350 during installation RH9.
after boot i select the instalation method, language and then instaler ask
me
wich drive i wont use to install.
When i choose cdrom the installer stops. On log is "unable to mount
<drive>"

where is the problem?

Compaq ProLiant ML350
hdd scsi 36G
cdrom - ide
