I have a P4 running a 120GB HD. The HD was partitioned for 89GB NTFS
and 10GB for FAT32. The remaining 22 GB are free.

Some months ago I attempted to install RH9 from the factory CD but ran
in to difficulty with the FX5200 video card. I removed the Linux
partitions with Partion Magic 8.0 and I used Windows2000 Recovery's
FixMBR to get rid of Lilo.

I am now attempting to re-install Linux RH9 but keep getting error
saying unable to allocate partition space. I have looked at this space
with both Windows2K Recovery and with RH9's Rescue mode. Neither shows
any old Linux Partitions in the 22GB unallocated space.

Any ideas why I can't partition this space?
