How many files are on this CD? If there are only a .iso
file and maybe the .img file you mentioned, you burned it
incorrectly. You need to use the "image" option when
burning a .iso file to a CD. Then, on the CD you will see
the _contents_ of the .iso file, not the .iso file itself.
Another option might be hard disk install, if you have
another operating system available (knoppix, maybe?) that
you can use to copy the .iso files to the hard disk. I used
hard disk install, and it's a lot faster and more reliable.
