Assuming that you are talking about the Linux end of things and not the
basic hardware installation.
If you are simply adding more storage, install the drive and make sure the
device is enabled in your BIOS. Then make sure it has an appropriate fstab
entry (hdc, hdd, etc.). Give it a mount point and you are basically off to
the races.
If you are using the drive and moving a partition and directory or two to
it from the old drive, this is a bit more complicated. Still not too big
an issue unless you are moving the boot directory.
