    Hmmm... try the following (as root from the console or xterm session);

    cd /usr/bin

    wget http://www.linuxprinting.org/foomatic-rip
     
    wget http://www.linuxprinting.org/foomatic-gswrapper

    chmod 755 foomatic-rip foomatic-gswrapper

    ln -s /usr/bin/foomatic-rip /usr/lib/cups/filter/foomatic-rip

    service cups restart

    ./enable <printer_name>

    Use; http://localhost:631/printers to figure out the <printer_name> if
    needed. You might want to posting your question to linuxprinting.general
    if this does not help.
