Does FC 2 have a media check on boot up like RH 9 does ?

I have just obtained a copy of FC 2 from a computer shop and booted up with
it , but it just comes up with the installation screen , when I installed RH
9 , before the installation screen came up , the media check utility comes
up to check all the CDs prior to installation.

So am I missing something off the CDs or doesn't Fedora have the media check
?

Thanks.
