The immediate problem is how to get to the Gnome panel at the bottom of the
screen to choose reboot or shutdown. I can't use the mouse and the keyboard
shortcut (Ctrl-Alt-Esc) seems to do nothing.
I would settle for a text window to type shutdown, but can't seem to find
the keyboard shortcuts that work.
The mouse worked for a while (15 minutes) but stops so it may be hardware
problem.
I am using AMD, going through a Blekin OmniView Pro 8 port KVS and using a
Sony Multiscan 20sfII. Occasionally it blinks off/on and I'm not sure if
it's the onboard video, the switch or the monitor, but suspect something may
be messing up the mouse.
