Hi,
I have tried about 20 times now to install redhat 9 on my system but
it fails
for various reasons. It will be a dual boot with windows server 2003.
It is a
machine about 4 years old. see link for system info

As far as I can tell this is the most recent bios, though MSI no
longer seems to
acknowledge this motherboard on their site.

I have an 10gig NTFS partition. I have tied both manually setting
the partition
size and also having RH automatically set them. Either keeping the
root partition
to 11 gigs or let it max out the rest of the drive.
here is a pic of the last setup i chose

I have tried both gui install and text based. various setups like,
desktop, server,
few packages selected, all packages selected. I should also mention
that I have 2
identical sets of RH cds that i can install from. both sets pass the
media test.

So basically the install starts fine, the partitions are checked and
then formated.
the packages start to install. the installation gets to various points
and then fails.
One time i had a kernal panic, many others i get a gui dialog box
saying, either
i have run out of space, there is a problem with a package, the media
is bad,
and a prompt to reboot.
Most time however i get something like this

I am going crazy trying to get this installed. Does anyone have any advice?

much appreciated.
