I know I can check my Fedora cdrom install media for errors by running
"linux mediacheck" at the fedora boot prompt during installation.
But is there a way to run this before starting an install,
even on a different box then the one I want to install to?
I guess you could just start the fedora install, do the
media checks and then abort out of it but I'd really like
to just run some tool or script without booting the
install disk. I'm assuming mediacheck is really some
shell script that calls to md5sum or something?
