Giving up on Fedora/linux

Hi

try to install the FC2T3 cd's that I have dl.

The cd's wo'nt boot and tried allmost everything and I will give up know.

I have burned the ISO's with Nero and Alcohol 120%.
These will boot in my desktop, but won't boot on my laptop (AMD 700 Mhz).

I have seen (google) that this is problem but can't find any right answers.

I give up, Bill wins again...?
